Sindh Police has officially opened applications for the Special Protection Unit (SPU). This recruitment drive is specifically designed to enlist 1500+ Retired Soldiers from the Pakistan Armed Forces to provide high-level security for CPEC projects across Sindh, including Karachi.
Physical & Education Requirements
| Criteria | Requirement for Retired Soldiers |

| Education | Matriculation (Minimum) or Equivalent Army Qualification |
| Height | 5 Feet & 7 Inches (Minimum) |
| Chest | 33" inches (with 1.5" inch expansion) |
| Rank | Retired Lance Naik, Naik, or Havildar |
| Medical | Category 'A' (Exemplary Character) |
| Age Limit | Maximum 45-48 Years (Depending on Rank) |
Required Documents
Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of interview/test:
- Discharge Certificate / Discharge Book (Original)
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Domicile & PRC (Sindh Province)
- Education Certificates (Matric/Inter)
- Character Certificate from the last Unit served.
- 08 Recent Passport Size Photographs.
Salary & Allowances 2026
Selected candidates will receive a handsome salary package under the Sindh Police Pay Scale, which includes:
- Standard Police Pay + Special Security Allowance.
- CPEC Allowance: Additional monthly PKR 10,000 to 15,000.
- Free Medical Facilities for self and family.
- Pensionable Service (as per Sindh Govt rules).
